2012 Nova Open & The Virginia Primaries

Nova Open just put out its Feb newsletter, with a ton of great updates. Looks like this year they will be featuring a ton of cool items for sale like bases, and objective markers as well as 100+ tables of newly made terrain. Hurrah!

I can’t wait to see what Mike Brant unveils for the new terrain!

I’ve been talking with Mike as well lately and I am proud to announce that FTW Games, the home of Spikey Bits, will be hosting the Virginia Primaries on May 19th.

The Va Primaries will be a Nova Open 40k Invitational Qualifier that we hope to get 32 players signed up for. The winner secures a spot at the Invitational tournament in September, as well as, at least $100 in store credit from FTW Games!

Mike and the Nova Crew will be on hand as well helping with the event, and promoting the Nova Open in September.

Objective Markers

Grab a little piece of history: These objective markers are the last of those used at the 2011 NOVA Open. They have never been offered before. Beautifully designed, they are 11.5 grams, eight striped, customized poker chips. Players have been asking for them since last August.
