First Thoughts- Eldar Iyanden Codex “Supplement”

Did you buy the New “Iyanden” Codex Supplement?  I did, and I am not happy with it at all.

This whole 110 page book only contains 2 pages of must have rules for 40k (written by Mat Ward).
It has a lot of other rules (for Cities of Death, and other versions of the game etc) but for 40k itself that’s it.
Plus at the back of the book there is a very insulting ad for the THREE how to paint Iyanden ebooks, followed by a follow us on Facebook link (that they took down last time I checked cause of the “We Own Everything Space Marine Debacle”) as well.
So there you have it guys, if your are buying this book for 40k rules only, well I can’t say you’ll be happy with it.
If you want it for the 110 pages of other stuff like fluff and random Cities of Death items, new Alter of War / Planetstrike scenarios for the Iyanden, then it’s a slam dunk.
When I get back from WargamesCon I’ll be doing a more indepth review, but for now this book is getting the “FAIL” stamp of approval from me. -MBG
