BioHazard: Weathered Contemptor Commission

Does this look infected? Checkout the “Biohazard”  Contemptor the talented folks at Lil’ Legend Studios.

Part of their Death Guard Commission, we have here a Contemptor Dreadnought. He’s even sporting a little piece of toxic flair, just the way Nurgle likes.
Deathguard Contemptor Dreadnought designation ‘Hazard’
The Deathguard, and especially their vehicles, offer us the opportunity to really go nuts with weathering. We can crack out the weathering powders, oils, enamels and just go hello for leather destroying out pristine paint job – but without knowing where to place these nice bits a model can look drab, dirty and worst yet, badly painted.
I’m working on a tutorial showing you how to create these effects and the kinds of things to avoid. Tomorrow we’ll have a look at a quick tutorial on how to create a stencil sign for your vehicles.
I’d like to thank Fallout Hobbies for their wonderful biohazard decal set and sign. Absolutely gorgeous set that are easy to use and are an absolute blessing for Deathguard armies.
