First we will take a look at Ogroid Thaumaturge. It comes in the special little clam pack like we have seen the Kharn model come in. And there is also a nice colored instruction manual that also has his rules inside.

Kairic Acolytes

Next up the Kairic Acolytes come in a box of 20 and has a very low price point of $50 for so many miniatures. They also come with 32mm bases to give them that dynamic stance.

The new Tzeentch AoS Dice are very high quality and come with a tray to put them in after rolling for you destiny dice before the game.

Check out the full unboxing video below to see everything we have to say about wave one releases.

Gaunt Summoner: $25

Gaunt Summoner

Standing high in the favour of Tzeentch, Gaunt Summoners are sorcerers capable of shifting the tide of battle single-handedly. Luckily for Sigmar and his allies, there exist only nine of these immensely powerful beings. Each has been gifted with a changestaff and a key to one of the nine Silver Towers – lairs of hidden knowledge filled with secrets and traps. On the battlefield, they call forth daemons from the Realm of Chaos, engulf foes in sheets of flame and simply stab those who get too near with a mutation-causing warptongue blade.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the parts necessary to assemble a Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch, a shining, feather-festooned example of the avian stylings of the Changer of the Ways. He comes armed with a changestaff and warptongue blade – the latter of which he is plunging into a Book of Profane Secrets, unleashing terrifying magicks from within.

This kit comes in 10 components and is supplied with a Citadel 40mm Round base.

Kairic Acolytes: $50

Kairic Acolytes

Human cultists of Tzeentch, Chanters of Change, the Kairic Acolytes have made dire sacrifices for the promise of knowledge and power, spending decades becoming worthy enough to attempt the Kairic Test of Nine. They walk amongst the unsuspecting, remaining covert, waiting patiently until the correct time to strike. When that time comes, they hurl their collective magical might in the form of searing bolts, punishing those who survive with sinister curved blades.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 20 Kairic Acolytes. Each Acolyte is armed with either a cursed blade, a pair of cursed blades or a cursed blade and arcanite shield. The kit includes 20 face masks – any one of these can be applied to any one model, meaning every unit of 20 can be completely unique.

2 models can be upgraded to Kairic Adepts, with their own choice of 3 different heads, either a sword or pick as weapon and shield options. 2 miniatures can be accompanied by a Vulcharc – a flying creature perched on their arm, which attacks enemy wizards – and 2 models can be assembled holding a Scroll of the Dark Arts, boosting their allies’ magical abilities.

This 164 component kit is supplied with 20 Citadel 32mm Round bases.

Ogroid Thaumaturge: $41Ogroid Thaumaturge

Very little is truly known about the Ogroid Thaumaturges – other than their fearsome prowess in combat. In their rage, their skin writhes with arcane energy, eldritch sigils blazing across their muscular frames. Multicoloured flames of Tzeentch erupt about them as they tear enemies apart with their bare hands, giving them the strength to pierce even sigmarite armour with their formidable horns. Most disturbingly, these creatures are no mere brutes but possessed of impressive sorcerous ability, hurling blasts of flaming energy at the foe.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the 16 components necessary to assemble a hulking, imposing Ogroid Thaumaturge. Standing at almost twice the height of a Kairic Acolyte, and covered in sculpted sigils, he’s a model who can be easily painted to represent the incredible arcane energy within. He’s armed with a thaumaturge staff, topped with a horned skull emitting magical flame.

This kit is supplied with a Citadel 50mm Round base.
