Why? Well GW’s Fiscal year starts then, and it sets in motion their Q1 plans.

What does that mean for us? Well besides hopefully 6th Edition in June, probably higher prices on some items. 

Now, now, before you start to get upset remember everything goes up.  UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex raise their rates once a year, heck so does eBay. 

Shoot even Grainger raised their prices in Feb 1.5% across the board, and lets not even get started about the price of Gasoline, right?

So why does a price adjustment always produce such a hostile response? From the real world examples above should we expect a yearly increase?

Well for one, no one likes a price hike. Why should we pay more?  History states that’s just how the world works, so there is not sense fighting that, I guess.

Cost of living increases are suppose to help compensate our incomes for inflation, but who knows if the majority of hobbyist out there even get those (Heck here in Virginia teachers haven’t even gotten a raise in several years, hmmm maybe I should be writing somewhere about that…)

Regardless no one likes paying more period, but there is something we can do to ease the pain so to speak.
