Might of the Ancients- New Eldar Model Unboxing!

Well another GW release has once again crashed against our consciousness, so let take closer look at the new models and see whats good!

So today I have for you spankin’ new video unboxings of the sweet new Eldar models; Wraithknight, Wraithguard, Farseer, and the Hemlock Wraithfighter!

There were some re-releases as well, but I didn’t really take a look at them since they have been around for years already.

With this release we once again got a huge fricking model offering from Games Workshop. This time it’s the biggest model from a regular release that has been put out to date!  Clocking in at over NINE inches tall is the new Eldar Wriathknight (above). In terms of assembly and design that kit is VERY versatile and can be posed a number of ways, which will lead to some great looking Eldar armies in the near future I think!

I especially like the new Wraithguard kits, as the old ones were just too static. Plus even being vintage models they started to get pretty expensive.  I have to admit I didn’t even notice these new models were as big as they were till I opened my first box (and on 40mm bases to even).  Holy cow, they are almost as tall as a Wave Serpent!

The jet looks pretty cool too, but I’m not sold on the “Bunny Ears” just quite yet.  I’m hoping to find a way to make a version that uses both design elements to produce something more my style.

Checkout one of our local’s new fighter! Pew Pew!!!

Once again overall, I think it’s a pretty solid release model-wise and it seems Games Workshop may have gotten their act together from the problems that plagued the Tau release two months ago!

Please enjoy my video unboxings of the new models below, and be sure to checkout my review of the Eldar Codex, as well! -MBG
