There has been some speculation about how the Firespray is somehow being forgotten in X-Wing’s Scum & Villainy faction. What say ye?
Sure the Jumpmaster 5000 menace has taken the meta by storm, but don’t listen to the naysayers. In the right hands the Firespray can be a deadly ship, and who better to fly it than the most notorious bounty hunter of all time: Jango..I mean Boba Fett. He’s no good to me dead!
PS 8 Boba Fett – Lone Wolf + Glitterstim + Engine Upgrade + Tactician
The Scum version of Boba Fett here is one tough mother to put down. With Lone Wolf, his Pilot ability, and Glitterstim, he can solo joust with any swarm list out there and only get a few scratches on the paint of Slave 1.
The key to this build is to get in as close to range 1 as you can get, and the Engine Upgrade on a large based ship is pure gold just for that. Tactician allows you to add a control element as he purses his prey, and once he is in range 1 he can reroll dice for each enemy at range 1. Glitterstimm allows all focus results to become hits while attacking and evades while defending. Any blanks that come up and Boba just keeps on rolling.
With the addition of Dengar, the Scum meta has been evolving to accommodate a 2 ship build. There have been lists out there that feature Dengar and Guri, and Dengar and Bossk, but consider a bounty bros list with Boba and Dengar!
