Armada Wave 3 and 4 have hit gaming stores everywhere. Time to test out some new upgrades! But ships from previous expansion need some love too. Check out this new way to bump up your Rebel fleet!
Today we are going to toalk about a new way to kit out your Nebulon-B. This little ship can put out a surprising punch if it has a good support system. It’s left and right hull zones are extremely vulnerable, and a good fighter cover can keep you in the fight. The Yavaris title also boosts those squads if you use a Squadron Command to activate them.
The Yavaris title with 2 B-Wings as escort was, and still is, a force to be reckoned with. With some new upgrades from Wave 3 & 4, Yavaris just got a whole lot better! Those new upgrades are the Flight Commander and Fighter Coordination Team upgrades.
The problem with B-Wing squadrons is their abysmally slow speed. They have a printed speed of 2, which seems very lackluster. But with the Fighter Coordination Team, you are able to move those 2 B-Wings up to speed 1, effectively making them speed 3.
But the thing about the Yavaris title is that for it to work, your fighters must remain stationary to fire twice. Flight Commander to the rescue! You are able to activate your Squadron Command after you perform a maneuver, then after your maneuver you are able to ‘Fighter Coordinate” them forward speed 1. Having technically not moved, your B-Wings may now fire twice!
That’s some awesome synergy right there. It’s great to seem awesome new upgrades like these that help existing ships really shine. Keep learning to improve your game and tactician skills.
