Delve into the teachings of the Dark Side with the new condition cards that come with the Upsilon-Class Shuttle from X-Wing Miniatures and Fantasy Flight.
The latest crew card to hit the scene is General Hux. He allows you to choose 3 friendly ships at range 1-2, give them all focus tokens, and then assign one of those ships with the “Fanatical Devotion” condition card. All for the price of 1 stress token.
This condition card allows you to set aside 1 dice that was changed to a hit from a focus token and declare that that hit result cannot be canceled by defense dice. In a way, this works like an autoblaster turret, but can be used on any ship that you assign “Fanatical Devotion” to.
The Kylo Ren crew card allows you to assign the “I’ll Show You the Darkside” condition card to 1 enemy ship at range 1-3.
The ship that this condition is assigned to must have a Pilot critical card assigned to it that you pick from their deck. Whenever they suffer critical damage they suffer the Pilot critical card that you chose. This sort of acts as a deterrent for your opponent, because they might have a really nasty Pilot crit waiting for them if they are not careful.
