The HWK-290 is an amazing support ship, and the Scum are all about “support”. Taking what is not theirs, or messing up your plans is what they do best.

A ship that you don’t see very often, Dace Bonearm has an interesting ability that allows him to add damage any time an enemy ship receives an ion token. You must receive a stress token for the damage to go through, but that’s a small price to pay. An obvious upgrade for Dace is an Ion Turret, but a recent new upgrade will allow him to really shine. The latest Illicit upgrade: EMP Device.

Instead of making an attack in the combat phase you may use your EMP Device to assign 2 ion tokens to each ship at range 1. Using Dace Bonearm’s ability, you could receive one stress token to force a damage on any of the enemy ships that were ioned.

intelligence-agent

You could equip the Intelligence Agent crew card to help you narrow down your target and their movements to ensure that your EMP device goes off at the right time in the right place.
