The Heroes of the Light Side of the Force fight for what is just and right. Come and study the knowledge of the wizened Jedi and learn the Top 5 upgrades for heroes in Star Wars Destiny.

An amazing upgrade for the heroes is One With the Force. This card’s accompanying die has no blanks, so you are always going to get results when you roll this out. At 4 resources, it has a hefty price, but when you do play it it will be here to stay. If you strike a character down with this upgrade they become more powerful than you could possibly imagine. This upgrade becomes a permanent support once the attached character is defeated. There is no other upgrade in the game that does this! You gotta become one with your cards!

The Rebels are experts at survival, and this upgrade will help your characters make it to the next level! Another excellent upgrade that has no blanks on its die, you will always get something to help your squad out with this upgrade. It has a potential to give you plenty of shields for survival and resources to help boost your action economy.

No Rebel force user could pass up having the legendary Luke’s Lightsaber upgrade in your deck. This beefy laser sword has plenty of damage potential, but also has defensive options for you. It has a 2 shield side on its die and its special allows you to deal 2 unblockable damage or gain 2 shields. Defensive yet offensive!

The Heavy Blaster Pistol is a mainstay in the Rebel arsenal. This blaster has massive damage output but has built in utility with ambush and dice removal. After you play this upgrade, you may take an additional action and also are able to force your opponent to remove one of their dice. Not a bad deal for 3 resources.

Last but not least: Second Chance. This will literally save your characters’ butts when they are near defeat. For 3 resources, you get an extra life for your characters. Whenever the attached character would be defeated, instead heal 5 damage from them and discard this upgrade from play. No third chances apparently, so don’t go thinking you can use this again with your Starship Graveyard battlefield ability. A nice fail-safe for your characters.

That’s it for the Heroes of Star Wars Destiny. Do you have these upgrades in your decks? Use the Force to guide your luck then next time you get your hands on some boosters!
