Today we are taking a look at Fantasy Flight’s new game Runewars. They have a ton of plans for more miniatures and expansions in the future but today we are just taking a look at the core game.
There are a ton of tokens, movement guides and dials used for various different things during gameplay. All of which is explained in a handy Learn to Play guide that is also in this giant box.
Everyone knows how much we here at Spikey Bits love game aids so we are extremely excited to see that all of the units come with their own cards that not only have all of the unit’s stats but also the cost and how to field the units. These small cards are a prefect thing to sit on the table beside you while playing so you don’t have to reference a ton of books.
The miniatures are some what multi-part but not quite as multi-part as Warhammer miniatures but that doesn’t change anything about how amazing these minis really are. They are all very detailed and look like they will be a lot of fun to paint up and see on the table.
