Fantasy Flight Games continues their releases for Waiqar’s Undead with this new hero expansion. This hero will leave now stone…or grave.. unturned!
None of Waiqar’s servants are more ambitious than Ankaur Maro; a fearsome necromancer who will come mounted or unmounted. Included are tokens, and new upgrade and deployment cards. Maro has strong ranged attacks that fluctuate in power based on dice rolls. He also comes armed with the Duskblade and is effective in melee range. He is capable of adding full trays of Waiqar infantry units, using his special modifier, based on the number of stable energy runes. This comes at a price, as Maro will take wounds based on the amount of trays added. He can heal himself and can convert fallen enemies to fight for Waiqar.

The Ankaur Maro Hero Expansion comes with two Ankaur Maro figures for the Waiqar in the form of cavalry and infantry versions, as well as six upgrade cards, four for use with any army and two exclusively for Ankaur Maro.
