The new Scurrg bomber for the Scum faction will breathe new life, or death, into the Star Wars X-Wing game-state. This latest build will feature a nasty bomb combo!
Sol Sixxa is a pilot skill 6 bomber of a ship with some room for lots of toys. This ships can add crew, sensors, turrets, missiles, and bombs! But we will be focusing on its bombs today. Sol Sixxa can drop bombs in a very unique way, being able to use the 1 turn left or right to drop a bomb instead of the straight 1. This give you a little extra reach whenever you throw bombs in your opponent’s faces!
The Bomblet Generator is the perfect upgrade for Sol Sixxa. This upgrade continually produces bomblet tokens during the movement phase, so you will be able to use Sixxa’s ability liberally. Bomblet tokens detonate at the end of the Activation phase, and any enemy caught within range 1 of a bomblet will have to roll 2 dice, taking whatever hits or crits they roll. This can be sort of a gamble and may produce no damage, but we have a plan for that!
Cad Bane is another great upgrade for Sol Sixxa. Not only do you gain another bomb upgrade with Cad Bane, but you also make your bombs more effective. Whenever a bomb token makes an opponent roll attacks dice, you can force them to reroll any blanks or focus results, effectively giving them more chances to damage themselves! An interesting if very niche upgrade, but it works for the Scum faction!
