Creature Caster has a brand new model that is unrivaled in precise violence and will drain our wallets yet again: the Lady of Strife!
The Lady of Strife demon model is the latest project from Creature Caster and is currently available for pre-order. Creature Caster is no stranger to us as we have reviewed, assembled, and painted several of their fantastic sculpts here and over on Twitch. They have come a long way since their Kickstarter a few years ago and we cannot wait to see what else they come up with.
Here is a sample of our quick and dirty review of the Lady of Strife to give you the lowdown on what you can expect to see with this kit.

Just out of the packaging and you can already tell that the level of detail is fantastic. The smaller bits have their own sprues now and come already perforated to aid in clipping. Her head is similar to the Lady of Corruption in good design and sculpting. The bone detail is excellent and you really see it in the weapon options that she comes with: bone axe and sword or twin bone scythes that emerge from her wrists. Add to this the fact that she has four arms made from bone/bonescale armor and you have a model that is well worth the price.
She comes with a 60mm base that is custom designed with one of her axes embedded in the skull of a demon beast that lays right behind her. The base comes with slots to easily fit the axe into the skull and for the Lady Of Strife’s hooves to fit onto the base. Once fully assembled, she will stand 11cm tall from her hooves to her horns and 12cm if you add the base as well.
She comes with two head and horn variations that are hard to decide on. Each has unique facial features and horn positioning. It was very hard for Rob to decide on which variation he liked more. We may have to wait until he is done painting the Creature Caster Warrior demon to finally know. Another great thing the we realized is that there doesn’t appear to be any gaps that need filling as we saw with the Warrior Demon. All pieces come together seamlessly which will ease the building process and have her ready to paint in short order.
We really cannot say enough about this model. It’s proportions are not cartoony as we have seen with other female models from other companies; the level of detail is present from the wings to the intricate bonescale; she comes with four arms that have sick weapon options; etc. We could keep going. Bend knee before the Lady of Strife or face annihilation! Considered to be one of the premier warriors of demonic kind, her pride and arrogance is not empty posturing. Rivers of blood have been shed by her blades and each drop imbues her with increased strength and vitality. Completely without mercy she has built an empire where conflict is unending, and the only currency is violence.
Her fortress stands upon the most barren plane in the demonic realms. Baked and cracked earth as far as the eye can see surround the walls of her home. From a distance the spires and fluted architecture appear a marvel, but when viewed closely the horror of its existence is revealed. Here where there is nothing of material value, she has built a stronghold from the bones of her foes. Each body stacked in an interlocking pattern with the one below, creating a formidable bulwark. It is a monument to her ascendancy, and her power draws lesser demons like moths to a flame.
Countless warring factions surround the fortress, piecing together hovels from each other’s corpses in an imitation of her greatness. A vast sprawling city of bone where the bloodshed never stops. Each demonic pilgrim battling to come closer to the epicenter where her valkyrie song calls to them. Only the mightiest of warriors can hope to reach the walls of her fortress, where their pilgrimage inevitably ends. For the Lady of Strife stalks the center of her kingdom, and her every step is an act of unrivaled and perfect violence.
Lady of Strife is hand cast in pure, unfilled, resin. She is designed to fit a 60mmx60mm round base and has a height of 12cm from bottom of her scenic base to top of her horns, and 11cm from bottom of her foot to top of her horns. Model is unassembled and unpainted. Intended for ages 14+. No where else will you find a quality resin model of comparable size for this price.
