A hero of the Uthuk Y’llan possesses a great and terrible ambition and is coming to the war-torn lands of Terrinoth to seize power!
Kethra A’laak is a witch sworn to the Blood Coven but her interests in seizing power has set her apart from all others within the swarm. She is ruthless, unpredictable, and will not stop until she is strong enough to take her place as the ruler of the locust swarm. The Kethra Al’aak Hero Expansion comes with two customizable figurines of Kethra: one on foot and one of her riding her loyal flesh ripper. The pack also contains a collection of new tokens, terrain, and upgrade cards.
Being marked by the Gore Claws tribe, Kethra has done horrible things to attain the powers and status that she has earned. As such, she has the gift of unnatural strength, giving her the ability to roll two white dice when in melee. Her incomparable link to the Ynfernael makes her a skilled witch and her blood magic is ruthless. She will sacrifice friend or foe to increase her own power. As a skill, she can choose an ally and roll one white die. That ally and enemies within range 1-2 of that ally will suffer wounds equal to the hit result.
Her command boasts a incredible seven blue actions and four blue modifiers. With this, her adaptability is unmatched on the field. She also has a red melee action that can be paired with a surge modifier to boost her arcane abilities or with a mortal strike. In battle, Kethra rides a flesh ripper, a volatile breed, but it serves its master willingly. These demons are extremely quick and offer its rider initiatives that fall at almost any time in the round, between two and eight.
Kethra comes a set of upgrades that reflect her vicious and unpredictable nature. Her ‘Bonecaster’ upgrade allows her to use her melee attack as a ranged one. A surge modifier can be used as well to inflict two damage to an enemy. Another upgrade card, ‘Dragonjaw Focus’, can be used on herself or any Uthuk allies. Its range is effected by the number of unstable runes on the field. Once an enemy unit is chosen, the caster draws a morale card and the chosen unit suffers the effects of said card. The price is that the caster suffers the same effects of the drawn card. The commanding player can allows the player to perform another skill action after the morale card is resolved.

The Kethra A’laak Hero Expansion includes one cavalry figurine and one infantry figurine, as well as one plastic siege movement tray. This pack also comes equipped with one terrain card, objective card, deployment card, and two condition cards, as well as six available upgrades and a collection of markers and tokens.
