Lieutenant Karsabi is pushing his Alpha Wing Starfighter to the limits of its potential with this new build that will control Rebel ships at will!
Lieutenant Karsabi is coming in hot with some fierce upgrades! At pilot skill 5, Karsabi is in the middle of the pack when it comes to Aces, but his pilot ability is interesting and we are going to run with it. Whenever he receives a weapons disabled token, if Karsabi is not stressed, he may receive 1 stress token to remove the weapons disable token. A little give and take but we can work with this for sure. 
The first upgrade to equip is the XG-1 Assault Configuration. This will open up 2 cannon slots that we will take full advantage of. Interestingly, this title allows us to attack with a cannon that cost 2 or less even when we have a weapons disabled token, but Karsabi can deal without this effect. 
First of all, we want to gain weapons disabled tokens in this build, as an Advanced SLAM would be perfect. Whenever Karsabi performs a SLAM, if he didn’t overlap on an obstacle or another ship, he can perform a free action. After that SLAM and free action, Karsabi can get rid of the weapons disabled token from SLAM and gain a stress token. 
Flechette Cannon is a great control mechanic upgrade that can give out stress tokens. If your attack hits, the defender suffers 1 damage and gains a stress token if it is not stressed. This can be a big problem for ships that want to perform crazy maneuvers next round, but with stress, they will be more predictable in their maneuvers. 
To further add to the control element, Tractor Beam can really ruin a ship’s day! Attack a ship, and if it hits, the defender receives 1 tractor beam token. This results in Karsabi being able to force a boost or barrel roll and also reduce agility on is targeted victim.
