Get your harpoons to hit their targets for sure with this crazy Tomax Bren build in Star Wars X-Wing. Watch out for this TIE Bomber!
Tomax Bren is a uniquely different TIE Bomber that normally doesn’t want to bomb, but would rather dogfight with Rebel ships. His pilot ability allows him to reuse Elite upgrade cards that normally would be discarded. This can allow him to use these powerful Elite cards again and again.
Crack Shot is a nasty little Elite card that allows you to cancel an opponent’s evade results while you are attacking it. Normally, this would be a one-time use card, but Tomax can use it again with his pilot ability.
This can be paired up with the deadly Harpoon Missiles. This 4 dice attack is much better that Tomax primary weapon of 2. It also has the side effect of giving the defender the “Harpooned!” condition card, which can be very bad for your opponent.
To make sure that these deadly Harpoons hook their target, Munitions Failsafe will make it so that your missiles will not be discarded unless they actually hit their target. Since Harpoon Missiles require a target lock and for you to discard it to fire, make the most of it.
To make sure that you can fire these deadly Harpoons again, go with Extra Munitions. This will give you a guaranteed 2 shots of Harpooning that can leave your enemies fighters truly panicked!
TIE Bombers are known for their heavy payloads, and Tomax Bren has something up his sleeves for the Rebels!
