Armiger, Necromunda Chaos & Deepkin: April WD

April WD Post

Check out the latest on the Armiger Knights, Necromunda Chaos Cultists rules, and the Idoneth Deepkin in April’s White Dwarf review.

The April 2018 issue of the White Dwarf has arrived and, while having some decent articles, is rather lacking in content overall. There have already been multiple posts made concerning the contents of this issue so chances are you have seen pretty much all this issue has to offer.

Our very own Rob Baer has the April issue on his paint bench gives us a look as to what we can expect to see inside.

April White Dwarf Contents

Starting off, there are several features absent from this month’s installment that we have become used to, such as the Paint Splatter and Blanchitsu section. Now, this issue does have a section on Shadespire deck building, Four Warlords, a battle report, and other features.

However, if you are primarily interested in the hobby side of things, then this issue will disappoint. Forgebane is the centerpiece of the battle report that features a great story backdrop that frames the battle between the retreating Ad Mech forces and the advancing Necrons of the Sautekh Dynasty.

April WD Shadespire

The Shadspire piece contains deck ideas for the Fyreslayers, Stormcast, and the Sepulchral Guard. These deck builds are accompanied by quick battle reports which utilize said decks and the outcome.

Hobbit fans will want to check out the “The Brown Wizard” piece which contains two new scenarios that feature Radagast the Brown. For you Necromunda fans, the piece on the Chaos Cultists rules will definitely be your stop for campaigns, training, dark rituals, and more.
