Defense of the Lion Gate Display: Adepticon 2018

Phalanx of OlympusToday we’re taking a look at a team display from the Adepticon 2018 40k Team Tournament that gave us a look at the Defense of the Lion Gate featuring the fan favorite custodes.

The Adepticon 2018 Team Tournament brought out some of the best displays we’ve ever seen, and this amazing Defense of the Lion Gate display was no different. The Phalanx of Olympus team really knocked it out of the park with this one! Let’s take a look.

This display had everything you would expect to see in the best team displays at Adepticon. With stained glass windows lit up so we could see the art, this display was truly an impressive sight to see.

This Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought had more than enough backup with plenty of Custodian Guard manning the front line with him.

Do you paint the inside of your vehicles? Well, these guys sure do, and they even threw in lights to give us a better look.

The guys of team Phalanx of Olympus had one small request, that we take a picture of them with their display, and we definitely had no problem with that at all!

Every year teams from all over build the best displays they can for the 40k Team tournament. This year, this Defense of the Lion Gate display by the Phalanx of Olympus team was truly an amazing site to see! Everything on it was crisp, clean, and phenomenally painted.

Congratulations on a job well done, we can’t wait to see what they have in store for next year!

Adepticon 2018 was definitely a really good time and we’re glad we got the opportunity to see this amazing display. Make sure you’re checking back in with us as we showcase more of our favorite displays from the Team Tournament.
