Bo-Katan Kryze is blasting in to the Destiny scene with a new way to play. Her passive ability to allow you to run Yellow Villain upgrades in your deck can open up new combinations that can catch your opponent off guard! Her character die is versatile, having 3 ranged, 2 melee, 1 shield, 1 resource, and 1 special ability. Her special ability goes hand-in-hand with her passive ability; Deal 2 damage to a character or 3 damage instead if this character has 1 or more villain upgrades.
Formidable is a nice new Yellow Villain upgrade that can go well with Bo-Katan Kryze. For 2 resources, you get an ability upgrade that has 2 melee, 1 shield, 2 shield, and 2 special ability sides. The special ability deals 1 damage to an opponent’s character. If that damage was not blocked, you may move an equipment or weapon from that character to another one of that opponent’s characters. This is an interesting ability that can switch a crucial upgrade onto another character that may be near death to in a way discard it. Also has great synergy with Bo-Katan Kryze’s special ability.
Another great Yellow Villain upgrade is Underhanded Tactics. +1 ranged, +1 ranged, 1 discard, and 2 special ability sides make for a nice support suite for this upgrade. The special ability deals 1 indirect damage to an opponent and allows you to resolve another one of your dice. This is a great speed boost for your actions that can deal damage and get your other dice activated quickly.
