The Imperial Guard stand strong against a lot of foes. Can they maintain their strength against the might of two daemon Primarchs?

Juice is hosting two fantastic armies, featuring Chaos against the Imperium. Austin’s Chaos Space Marine list has a battalion of Death Guard, with two squads of Nurgle Cultists, Poxwalkers, Necrosis, Blightspawn, and Daemon Princes.

The Thousand Sons detachment has two Daemon Princes, Ahriman, and Magnus. Mortarion rounds out the list in an auxiliary Supreme Command detachment.

Talon’s Imperial Guard list has three detachments. The first is a battalion of Mordians, with a Company Commander and Primus Psyker, four infantry squads with a mortar, and two command teams with four plasma weapons. the Spearhead detachment features Cadian Hellhounds, two Hydras, and two squads of two basilisks.

They are lead by a Primus Psyker. The air wing has two officers, two Vultures, and two Valkyries.

Talon won the first turn, aiming to push hard across the table, which he succeeds at. He is able to take over the middle of the board and take down Mortarion and the Poxwalkers.

The massive amount of firepower the guard has in this turn, plus focusing fire, caused the Primarch to fall.

Austin’s turn one aims to take down flyers and tie up ground troops. He does succeed in taking down all four flyers. Magnus came out swinging with his psychic abilities and kill quite a bit as well.
