The Independent Japanese Military Force, known as the Japanese Secessionist Army or JSA, is primarly an assault force, because the bushido doctrine requires no less.

The other option is the army pack, which is one faction and has terrain, templates, markers, and a starting army of that particular faction. For example, the JSA faction army pack has 10 miniatures, a game mat, three JSA specific dice, scenery pack, one ruler, and markers. The box also comes with a condensed rulebook.

Again, these models are true-scale metal miniatures but have absolutely fantastic detail. You will need a good set of clippers, a file, and an x-acto blade. The metal miniatures will have sprues and spurs remaining that need to be clipped off and filed down.

When filing, be sure to only work in one direction, rather than a back and forth sawing motion, which will give you a great finish. Assembly-wise, they are very easy to put together and do not have gaps. Overall, these are fantastic metal models.
