The former Guardians of the Whills are teaming up again to thwart the Villains in Star Wars Destiny. I am one with the Force and the Force is with me!

Guardians of the Whills: Star Wars Destiny Combo

Baze Malbus is bringing the big guns! Focusing solely on ranged damage all around, Baze can send a withering hail of damage into your opponents’ characters. His special can also ping each of your opponent’s characters for 1 damage, but that can add up if you keep rolling it.

Baze is not very far from his partner: Chirrut Imwe.

Chirrut Imwe

Chirrut is a great partner to Baze as he can help his ranged damage be more accurate. Chirrut has a passive ability that allows you to re-roll all of your blank dice after activating him.

This can help Baze’s character dice and ranged weapon upgrades hit their mark. Chirrut has supportive ranged sides on his character die as well that can add to the onslaught of damage. Light 'Em Up

Baze will definitely be able to Light ‘Em Up once you get rolling. It’s a 1 cost Event allows you to re-roll one of your dice, and if it just rolled ranged damage you may resolve that die and another one of your dice showing ranged damage, increasing one of their values by 2.

This can be very useful on Baze since half of his character die has ranged damage and any upgrades he gets can also be resolved, so light ’em up!

Guardians of the Whills

Baze and Chirrut always have each others’ back, and Guardian of the Whills is part of their teamwork. For just 1 resource, you can equip this upgrade to one of your characters, and its action ability allows you to exhaust it and move it to another one of your characters.

If that character is Blue, give it a shield; if it is Red, deal 1 indirect damage to an opponent. This can keep Baze and Chirrut fighting back-to-back against any foe!

Suppressive Fire

A great and thematic Support to add to your Baze/ Chirrut team is Suppressive Fire. This Support allows you to remove a character die once a character is activated, at the cost of discarding it and spending 1 resource.

This can be played early in a turn and be used once your opponent activates one of his characters to keep the heat on them. Defend your team with the Guardians of the Whills!
