Another New GW Model Hidden In Plain Sight

mystery

Games Workshop just dropped a teaser that may have been hiding a brand new miniature in plain sight. Check this out!

Warhammer Underworlds Facebook posted a picture on their page that started raising questions. Let’s take a closer look and break everything down.

Remember, GW has already previewed six new Warbands that will be coming to Nightvault already.

Underworld Preview

Here’s the pic that started all the discussion. Basically, it’s some kind of adventurer checking out a part of the vault and writing as he goes. Some kind of “creature” shows up and he actually takes the time to write down what’s going on before he gets mollywopped by whatever is coming towards him.

Regardless of how funny that sounds when you stop and think about it, check out the silhouette on the paper. Does it look familiar to you?

Either way, check out the Fellwater Troggoth in the center. See the rope hanging from his weapon and around his arms?  It appears to match up perfectly with the silhouette in the preview!

We noticed something else too:

rumor engine

This rumor engine from a few months ago came to mind when we started looking at this preview.  It looks like the fin/frills that are all over those Fellwater Troggoths.

Could a new Fellwater Troggoth model be on the way to AoS/Nightvault? Will it be a part of the Troggoth and Squigeon Warband that was previewed already?

It appears that unlike the other warband previews, this art may not show all the contents and there may be a Fellwater Troggoth hiding out for this release.

Or on the other hand, it is possible that the shroom, stalagmite with gaping jaw along with BAT-SQUIG, are all of the members of that Warband and this is all a wild grot chase.

Regardless, we should expect to see more on this preview in the future. Hopefully, it’ll shed some light on what exactly is coming to Nightvault. Will there actually be an all-Troggoth Warband?

We know that Nightvault and AoS are two different games but are in a part of the same universe. If Troggoths get revamped and given new models/rules for Age of Sigmar, would you start that army?
