Qui-Gon Remembered: Star Wars Destiny

Qui Gon

Luke Skywalker has felt a tremor in the Force and it is the spirit of Qui-Gon Jinn! The new Qui-Gon will lend his strength to Luke in Destiny.

Qui-Gon Jinn

The new and powerful Qui-Gon is a new force to be reckoned with for the Villains. As Snoke had said, once a powerful dark force rises an equal light force will meet it and Qui-Gon is the light. With shield favoritism and powerful melee sides, Qui-Gon will do well with the latest version of Luke. Equipping upgrades will make him even more powerful and tanky at the same time. Luke Skywalker

Luke is more of a pacifist, but Qui-Gon can make use of Luke’s strong shield sides. Luke uses powerful defense for offense, being able to resolve his shield sides as melee on a whim. His Power Action can help in a pinch to shift Blue abilities over to Qui-Gon as needed, and his focus side can help Qui-Gon’s dice get to his melee sides. Qui-Gon Jinn's Lightsaber

Qui-Gon’s Lightsaber is a new Legendary weapon for Heroes in Destiny. This lightsaber has 3 sides showing shields, and 2 melee sides to buff Qui-Gon damage output. It also has a built-in ability to regenerate 1 shield. After 1 or more shields are removed from attached character, you may exhaust this upgrade to give that character 1 shield. If this upgrade is on Qui-Gon you may draw a card. A great utility aspect of this weapon, and if you max out shields on Qui-Gon himself, you can increase the values on his Lightsaber by 1! Coordination

A great Blue ability upgrade that you can use in this deck is Coordination. This upgrade has plenty of focus and special ability sides that can get Qui-Gon’s shield game kick started. The special ability gives each of your characters 1 shield, and this can be great to keep Luke protected.

Your Eyes Can Deceive You

With all of these shield sides to your dice Your Eyes Can Deceive You! This Blue support can act as a soft die mitigation tool, as it kicks in after you roll a shield side on one of your dice;  it allows you to change an opponent’s die to any side. Strong defense is the way to go with wise old masters, and Luke and Qui-Gon will have you covered when you take on Snoke and the Villains in Star Wars Destiny!
