RUMORS: Forge World Removing More Models From Their Store

last chance forge world to buyForge World looks to be taking more models off of their webstore once again. Sigmar’s Tamurkhan Horde and Fimirach Warriors may be disappearing forever.

From time to time, Forge World is known for taking older, less popular units off of their webstore to make room for more models. However, it’s still sad to see these guys go as they have lore dating back to the earliest days of Warhammer Fantasy.

Tamurkhan & Fimirach Warriors Gone From Forge World

The TGA forum is reporting that Forge World sent out emails to some customers notifying them that these models were being removed.

Note that the entire Fimirach line is marked as No longer Available along with Tamurkhan, while some of the older models like Plague Toads, Plague Ogors, Bile Troggoths, etc. are still showing to be in stock at the time of writing this.

However, now that Tamurkhan looks to be gone, these other Nurgle units may be following right behind.

Tamurkhan The Throne of Chaos Wal Hor

In ancient days the great horde of Tamurkhan the Maggot Lord swept out of the Northern wastes despoiling all before it. Great Slaughter they brought to many lands as Tamurkhan sought the Throne of Chaos. Riding to war atop his great Toad Dragon Bubebolos, Tamurkhan dealt ruin and death to all that stood in his way.

Fimir are loathsome, one-eyed reptilian creatures, infamously degenerate and malign and possessed of dark powers. Fimir Warriors are armoured with plates of spell-forged bronze fitted to their hunchbacked bodies and wield Baleglyph weapons in combat, either in the shape of great double-handed mauls, or single-handed maces and curving hatchets, held one in each hand. Each Fimir Warrior also has a formidable weapon in its muscular tail which ends in a natural bone club with which it can smash any foes who get in close with bone-breaking force.

Tamurkhan was easily one of the coolest Nurgle characters we ever saw with one of the most unique models as well. As for the Fimir Warriors, these were probably one of the rarest things to find on the tabletop. In either case, each one is listed as No Longer Available. It looks like these guys are going to be gone for good as everything else that’s out of stock on Forge World is listed as Temporarily out of Stock.

As of this writing, we had not seen a last chance to buy update for any of these models from Forge World.

Is Tamurkhan one of your favorite models from Forge World? Do you play him in Age of Sigmar? What do you think Forge World might remove next?
