eBay Miniature Rescues is a unique channel that takes beat up, damaged minis, and tries to restore them! It’s a relatively new channel on YouTube and is super fun to watch what they are able to do with abused and unwanted miniatures.

His first goal is to add some white to both the black and turquoise to work in some transitions. Just using a pure white he does a few light coats over both the blue and black areas. Following that, with Golden Pthalo Blue and Green he goes ahead and airbrushes it over the turquoise areas. Adding more white, he works in extra layers to create transitions.

He also lets this turquoise palette bleed onto the arms a little bit and adds it to the talons. After that, he grabs some more white and edge highlights the base piece and any bones around the model.

Using some of the Pthalo mixes from before he brushes it over some of the black skin to give it some more life, like veins and the horn. Using Citadel Contrast Black Templar, he paints over any overspray. Then with Citadel Eshin Grey, he drybrushes over the black skin. And lastly, he dips the brush in Citadel Blood for the Blood God and spray air through the brush to get splatter type effects.

And with that, the project is done!
