All the new GW releases from mid-June into July are still available across platforms- here are the links to where you can still find them.

Most of these Games Workshop releases are orderable, but they might be low on stock or higher in price already on the secondary market. So be sure to check out all of the offerings and pick up anything you might want while they are still available…

Some of these may also still be available on GW’s store, but they are often cheaper when the allocations were favorable from stores elsewhere. Of course, if you can get them at your LGS at a discount, that may be a great place to spend your hobby dollars as well!

This set includes five different designs of zephyrwing spites and quiverbugs, each of which can be equipped to any one of the Gossamid Archer bodies, allowing you to mix-and-match your Archers for a wider variety of appearances across your army.

This new unit for Sylvaneth looks to be a strong one as any ranged options in the melee dense AOS are usually worth considering.

Spiterider Lancers Retail Price: $60

This multipart plastic kit builds three Spiterider Lancers, forest spirits mounted atop insectoid dragonspites. Wearing knightly horned helms and armed with long magical spears, these elite cavalry fighters can soar across massive distances into a devastating charge, and are infused with vital energies that allow them to repair all but the most grievous wounds. One Spiterider Lancer can be assembled as a Spiterider Scion unit leader, another as a Banner Bearer, and another as a Hornblower. The kit includes a variety of shield designs, heads, and different ways to assemble each dragonspite, as well as a choice of two different instruments for your Hornblower, so no two units need look the same. This set can alternatively be assembled as Revenant Seekers.

Auric Flamekeeper Retail Price: $33.50

This multipart plastic kit builds one Auric Flamekeeper, a funerary support Hero and Totem for Fyreslayer armies. Garbed in his sacred salamander-skin cloak and stern death mask, this duardin bears aloft the burning Masterflame Rune in one hand and wields a flaming brazier axe in the other. In battle, these warrior-priests wade into combat wherever the fighting is hardest, calling on the ur-gold power harvested from their fallen comrades to activate one of a range of magical effects.

Starting a string of AoS characters, this new one is from a recent battle box and can now be bought separately.

Akhelian Thrallmaster Retail Price: $33.50

This multipart plastic kit builds one Akhelian Thrallmaster, a flexible support Hero for Idoneth Deepkin. Clad in the roguish, flowing outfit of a noble exile, this well-traveled noble is bristling with exotic weaponry and accompanied by a snapjaw eel companion. In battle, the Akhelian Thrallmaster is an excellent choice to lead a small force of Namarti Thralls and Reavers, or support them on the front lines in a larger army. The Thrallmaster can swap between fighting stances, each of which offers them – and nearby Namarti units – different abilities, allowing them to adapt to the shifting tides of war.

Available outside of his battle box, this character is an easy pickup for Idoneth Deepkin players.

High Gladiatrix Retail Price: $35

This multipart plastic kit builds one High Gladiatrix, a pit-fighting Hero for Daughters of Khaine armies. Twirling her barbed whip around herself, this elegant and intimidating figure comes with a choice of two heads – one wearing a mask in the style of the Sisters of Slaughter, and one bare head. She can also be built with one of two styles of gladiatrix blade – either a curved dagger or a double-bladed spear – allowing for loads of variety in your murderous aelves. Scriptor Mortis Retail Price: $38

This multipart plastic kit builds one Scriptor Mortis, a malignant Hero for Nighthaunt armies. Surrounded by dribbling candles and the vapours of a spectral lantern, this bitter and vengeful scholar floats before an ornate skeletal lectern, making for a striking leader of your spectral hordes. A Scriptor Mortis can sentence enemy Heroes to endless punishment, inflicting a doom that creeps ever-closer as the battle drags on. When surrounded by friendly Nighthaunt, they’re also able to shield themselves from harm by transferring damage to their thralls.

GW New Releases: July 9th

New Citadel Color Paints & More: Pricing & Where To Get Yours

There are over 30 new and redone GW contrasts and shades. One thing to note about all the paints is they will be on a 2-week pre-order. We’re not sure if they will sell out or what, but might as well grab something if you like it, just in case.

New Citadel Contrast Paints $7.80 Each

Contrast has revolutionised the way we paint our armies. This massively successful range has allowed hobbyists of all levels to achieve the results they want in a quick, fresh, and easy way. The already-impressive Contrast lineup is set to receive 25 new hues.

Since the introduction of Contrast, we’ve had access to new techniques and easier ways to paint huge amounts of models quickly, so new options are always great!

These are some of the brightest and boldest colours yet, including fiery reds and oranges, icy blues, and vibrant greens and purples. They all go up for pre-order this Saturday, so clear some space on your shelves* and start dreaming up new ways to put the expanded range to use.

These are quite bright across the board, so it will be interesting to see what hobbyists come up with as far as usage goes.

New & Reformulated Shades $7.80 Each

All Shade paints have been reformulated to flow better, settling into the recesses while adding a bit less pigment to flat surfaces, making them even more useful.

In addition to reformulating these beloved paints (and don’t fret, they’re the same great colours – they just go on smoother and better than ever before) they went ahead and added seven new Shade paints to the range! There’s something here for just about every project, and you’ll be able to pre-order all the new and reformulated existing colours starting this Saturday.

Shades are another great technical option for painting and new options are always great!

The new options look pretty interesting, and with an update to all shades, hopefully, they all are better in the long run too…

White Scar Spray Retail Price: $22

Sometimes you just need a crisp, bright white undercoat to give your model the perfect start – and that’s where the new White Scar Spray comes in. It’s the perfect compliment to the existing sprays – Grey Seer offers a wonderful cool white, and Wraithbone a rich, creamy base – and now the trinity is complete! White Scar gives you that brilliant white base you’ve always wanted.

Pure white is a good undercoat assuming you want to paint bright colors! This new primer is a great tool for any hobbyist, especially since it pairs well with contrast paints.

White Dwarf 478 $11 (GW Exclusive)

White Dwarf is Games Workshop’s premium Warhammer magazine, packed with amazing content each month – including new rules and background, short stories, regular columns, special guests, and more.

478 is an essential issue for sci-fi fans, with expanded rules for terrain in Kill Team, and the first in a new series of articles for the latest edition of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.

White Dwarf always has a little bit for everyone, so if you like browsing a variety of things about Warhammer this is a great pickup for you.

New 40k Eldar & Chaos Releases: Pricing & Where To Get Yours

It’s been a while now since we saw the kill teams released together, but now you can finally grab either team on its own, which is always nice! Especially when they have so many new bits and even models for multiple Aeldari armies.

Knight Questoris: GW Webstore Exclusive

The Questoris-class Imperial Knights are the mainstay of any Knight House, filling a wide variety of battlefield roles in support of their Armiger underlings – or crusading forth alongside allied forces as a mighty Freeblade. This reboxed kit can build any one of the six Imperial Knight variants, plus the legendary Canis Rex – and you can even use it to create a Chaos Knight Despoiler.

This new repackage makes it easier to build Knights with different kit options to fit eight great datasheets you can choose from.

Corsair Voidscarred Retail Price: $60

Fresh from duelling Heretic Astartes in the Nachmund Gauntlet, the Corsair Voidscarred will soon be claiming plunder as an independent force. These stylish void pirates cut a mean streak across games of Kill Team, and they can also be built as two different units found in Warhammer 40,000’s Codex: Aeldari.

With these seeing some play in Eldar lists, it’s probably at least worth considering if you are a player of the faction.

Chaos Space Marine Legionaries Retail Price: $65

With Chaos ascendant, traitorous Astartes converge for glory, power, and a spot of carnage on the side. Many Legionaries have thousands of years of experience to draw on, forming flexible kill teams that mix raw strength and cunning tactics with lethal sorceries and powerful weapons.

With Chaos’ resurgence, this kit is sure to be a popular pick-up to add some variety to your army lists or conversions- if you don’t use them in Kill Team.

Kill Team: Nachmund (Book) Retail Price: $45

This is the paperback Kill Team supplement originally found in the Kill Team: Nachmund boxed set, now available on its own. Dark Commune Retail Price: $50

This multipart plastic kit builds a full Dark Commune, consisting of five models – one Cult Demagogue, one Iconarch, one Mindwitch, and two Blessed Blades. The members of this wicked cabal are clad in sinister robes, talismans, and daemonic masks reminiscent of their Chaos Cultist followers – but each boasts a unique appearance suited to their role. The Cult Demagogue wears a towering horned mask and pauldrons, wielding a staff adorned with a parchment strips and a foul familiar, while the Iconarch hoists a daemonic icon roaring with flames, his face hidden by a shadowy cowl. This multipart plastic kit builds one Warpsmith, a fiendish engineer capable of enhancing and repairing the vehicles of the Chaos Space Marines. This powerful warrior is bristling with an array of writhing mechatendrils, a number of which can be posed individually. These tendrils are mounted with a variety of spikes, drills, snapping jaws, and two potent ranged weapons – a melta and a flamer – alongside the plasma pistol held by the Warpsmith himself. This kit is loaded with industrial details like smokestacks, bionics, and a choice of three different shoulder pads, each rimmed with corrupted cog-teeth – one blank pauldron, one with iron banding, and one with a skull-and-cog icon. It also offers a choice of two heads – one bare head riddled with bionics and cables, and one grim half-mask helmet – as well as two different melee weapons – a serrated power axe, or a crushing thunder hammer – allowing even more customisation amongst your accursed engineers.

Daemon engines have been growing in popularity recently, so these Warpsmiths to support them aren’t a bad pickup to match them.

Venomcrawlers are arachnid-like amalgams of daemonic flesh and cursed iron, driven by a malignant sentience to scuttle across war zones in search of bodies to tear and spirits to consume. After butchering the prey with their excruciator cannons, claws and lashing tendrils, they draw the souls of the slain into their abdomens.

This multipart plastic kit builds a Venomcrawler and two Obliterators, warpforged biomechanical monstrosities capable of unleashing hellish firepower. Both Obliterators have a distinct appearance and pose, their warped armour and exposed mutant hides bulging with a variety of fleshmetal guns. The Venomcrawler sports gruesome insectoid details and abdomen-mounted excruciator cannons – it is also armed with a pair of soulflayer tendrils and six viciously clawed legs.

While the Venomcralwer might not be very competitive, it’s a really awesome model… And those Obliterators are good, so that the bundle might be worth it.

Warcry: Heart of Ghur Starter Set $230

Everyone’s favourite game of brutal skirmish combat in the Mortal Realms ramps up the carnage with Warcry: Heart of Ghur. This is a new and revamped edition, and has a two-week pre-order window. The boxed contains two incredible new warbands – all set to battle across rope bridges and bamboo barricades between the carnivorous trees of the Gnarlwood, with the help of some tasty new rules.

Straight from the festering fens to the north of the Gnarlwood, the Rotmire Creed head to the Ravening Ruin of Talaxis to hunt for the ingredients for their elixir of immortality. The industrious Horns of Hashut, on the other hand, bring the flame and fury of their dark god to Ghur. looking to level its lush greenery to make way for their forge fires.

Both of the new warbands look great with unique designs and characters.

The Nurgle-like swamp men face off against the noticeably better-equipped Horns of Hashut, but can they still win? Probably!

Heart of Ghur contains 20 finely detailed plastic miniatures, along with 18 pieces of new Gnarlwood-themed scenery, and a double-sided game board, as well as all the cards, tokens, dice, and accessories you need to play.

The new Ghur terrain will be perfect for AoS and Warcry alike in the realm of beasts.
