Chaos charged to a first-place finish at the Bunker Down GT over the weekend, as these Warhammer 40k army lists took the top three spots!
The tournament is over, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought into their armies.
Top 40k Army Lists: Chaos Wins The Bunker Down GT
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves.
3rd Place: Treynor Wolfe – Ynnari
2nd Place: Forest Phanton – Space Wolves
1st Place: Adam Dye – Chaos
Adam’s winning chaos list was actually a little bit like soup! He started with a vanguard of Death Guard led by a plague caster for his psychic support and extra mortal wound output. Then elites bring in nine Deathshroud Terminators to help protect a big character model coming up in another detachment. There are also two Plagueburst crawlers for some long-range weapons support.
The next detachment is a Vanguard of Chaos Daemons led by Ahriman for his fantastic psychic support and a Fluxmaster for a little bit extra too.
The elites in this detachment are 12 Flamers and an Exalted Flamer; these can decimate chaff units but also aren’t too bad at killing Space Marines thanks to their -2 ap.
Finally, the list closes out with Be’lakor, which the Terminators will help protect. He is simply an insane model with great stats and durability for his reasonable point cost. He does some serious damage in melee and is hard to take down!
Even more so with those terminators soaking some wounds for him!
