Your favorite Warhammer magazine is getting a new look and a new round of 40k Made to Order miniatures are coming out on Christmas Day.
White Dwarf is getting a makeover. Games Workshop says they’re taking your constructive criticism into consideration to give you more of what you want!
The new version will kick off with January and GW is promising new rules, new background, and guest columns. GW is so pumped they’ve even made a whole video about it.
Of course, not everything is new – White Dwarf will still feature many of your favourite regular articles, such as Readers’ Models (including our Reader’s Model of the Month), Contact (with Ask Grombrindal), Illuminations, Golden Demon winners, army showcases, Battle Reports and more besides. It’s the essential magazine for hobbyists of every persuasion and experience level.
Here’s the cover of January’s issue, complete with hints about what you’ll find within its pages:
Subscribers of White Dwarf will also notice another perk beyond receiving their copy a few days early – their magazines have an exclusive cover! One for collectors everywhere, you’ll be able to see the full-cover art of each issue in all its glory. Even the White Dwarf logo itself is applied as a transparent gloss layer to ensure full visibility of the artwork. Behold its magnificence…
Also available on Christmas Day will be the ePremiere of a new Black Library novel – the eBook made available a full three months before the physical book hits shop shelves. We can’t tell you what it is yet, but we can reveal that it’s a Warhammer Age of Sigmar novel, it’s focused on the forces of Chaos, and it’s packed full of action, drama and a chilling look at some of the servants of the Dark Gods.
Had enough? Surely not, what about Boxing Day?
That will be joined on Boxing Day (that’s the 26th of December for those of you outside the UK) by another ePremiere, this one from the 41st Millennium and all about… well, that would be telling. It’s also available three months early and promises to deliver insights into some of the Emperor’s most devoted soldiers.
Saturday 29th December will see you able to pre-order Inferno! Volume 2, the second in the new series of short story anthologies collecting tales from across the Warhammer universes.
