GW’s new Warhammer rumor engine preview has what looks like an old school manual flamethrower, perhaps for a new unit, so what is it from?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Rumor Engine Preview: December 9th, 2025
This new rumor engine looks like some sort of old-school flame thrower. While tons of factions are possible, it looks fairly well kept for supposedly AoS or Old World tech, meaning order is most likely.
With that, eliminating Skaven or Chaos, Dwarfs and Humans seem to be the most likely!
A fun thing to note is that Dwarves are known to have flame throwers in AoS/Old World and even have units in the popular Warhammer Total War videogame series! Of course, a sweet new specialist game miniature is also possible.
Either way, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it will be cool to see the future mini!
