Another awesome tiny Primarch conversion has appeared for Legions Imperialis, as more and more hobbyists are 3D printing units for the game.
Back when the game first launched, some said there would be issues getting miniatures for the game, much like what happened to Adeptus Titanicus and Horus Heresy, respectively. Hobbyists for the game are turning to 3D printing to create their miniatures as supply issues at launch seem to be a problem. We also check out a 3D-printed miniature of Horus and The Lion, both of which have been created by a hobbyist and posted on Reddit.
However, with folks already 3D printing Legions Imperialis units in the same scale to use for Adeptus Titanicus, the only supply issue in some cases is how many bottles of resin they have on hand. Now, we’re already seeing great conversions and 3D prints for models we don’t even know if we’ll ever see in the game. People are taking matters into their own hands to make unique miniatures and keep the supply of units flowing so they can play their games.
Another Tiny Primarch Conversion For Legions Imperialis
This Horus Primarch miniature for Legions Imperialis comes from Reddit.
I wish I could say I built it from scratch, but it was from a lot of files, including a few that have been gone for a while and some that have been re-uploaded more times than I can count.
I just chopped it all apart and smashed it together again with some custom-made parts to suit
It’s Horus but in mini, mini-form! Honestly, this looks great, and while they said the pics aren’t the best, this is still really awesome. Perhaps if LI had some plastic Primarchs from Games Workshop, people might be more willing to play the reboot!
They 3D printed this out, so if they can do it, and you have a printer, why not give it a go for your legion’s primarch? Luckily, there are plenty of Imperial Fists on the base because you don’t want Horus to go into battle without some enemies at his feet.
This same hobbyist also made The Lion, and while Horus is a little bigger (as he should be), we’re sure they will have some serious battles on the tabletop!
The Mini Lion
Speaking of the lion, this excellent print/kitbash by the same artist was spotted on Reddit. Even if you don’t play the game, this could be super fun to have hanging around your table just as a mascot for games.
What do you think about the 3D-printed Primarch, and do you think most people will have to use 3D printing to get what they want?
