Next Level Blood Angels- Battle Report #5 Screamerstar

Yo, Kenny from Next Level Painting here with my series of Battle Reports from the NOVA open.

You guys voted from me to play Blood Angels at that event over on the Forge the Narrative website, so here it is!

Blood Angels VS Screamer Star!

My opponent was rocking a full squad of screamers but only 2 haralds. He also had 3 demon princes, keeper of secrets, along with some standard troops and a portal.

I go for the “option select” and deploy my terminators as a faint, bubble wrapping mephiston. The plan is to sucker the princes into a fight with the terminators and have them get concussed, allowing mephy to swoop in force weapon them to death. Mephiston goes with codex powers. I deploy half the assault squads and leave the flamers in the ravens to harass squishy troops.

The trick is to find some terrain to deploy the formation into !
I use the assault squads to act as rear guard.
 look at these pimps
the demons deploy in a scary formation!

 The battle field.
 I tighten the wrap.
The demons begin to rush me down and cast their powers!
I block a crucial telepathy roll and my the demons rush in to my tar pit. The combat is a draw. I use corbulo to absorb the lamprey’s bite and we hold.
Storm Ravens roll up and start picking on the demon princes.
He fails the grimoire  and lands the 2 demon princes to reinforce combat . Thus taking the bait.
the portal glyph makes a horror and this prince tries to lash a storm raven down
plague bearers take a hill in the back field
The assault phase begins, and the trap closes. The princes are swinging at I1 and by the time they attack my terminators Insta-killed like 4 screamers, and force weapon another with the libby. I end up winning the combat by 7.  hence i instability pop the princes and the harolds.
My troops start making moves to take objectives while my ravens blast the surviving prince and portalglyph
The terminators take a centralized position and mephiston taunts the keeper.
storm raven drops its pay load off on some poor plague bearers
