Let’s start off with squad leader Thane Kyrell. His ability is great for helping others since he will not stand idly by when his squad mates are getting attacked. Thane can perform a free action after an enemy ship inside his firing arc attacks another friendly ship. This can be a great way to get into position with Vectored Thrusters.
This free barrel roll can help Thane get into a better firing position or to roll out of harms way. His free action can also gain him a free focus token or target lock! Tail Gunner can make Thane a threat from the front as well as the rear. You gotta have the title card whenever flying an ARC-170. This can make a great combo for Thane.
Tail Gunner and Alliance Overhaul can make his rear arc very dangerous for enemies that manage to get into range 1 of him! It also boosts his forward arc. Thane is an overall great team player!
The ultimate wingman cannot be left out of any Rebel squadron that wants to fly in formation. His ability to tank damage for his squad mates can help keep your fighters in the fight for much longer! An interesting upgrade for Biggs can be the R3 Astromech.
This nifty little Astromech can cancel a focus result after rolling attack dice. If you do you may gain 1 free evade token. This can make Biggs even harder to take out by being able to dodge damage with that evade token. It’s a great way to tank even more damage. Thanks Biggs!
Another great wingman for our Rebel squad is Esege Tuketu. This K-Wing pilot is handing out focus tokens like candy! Other friendly ships may treat Esege’s tokens as their focus whenever they are attacking. Recon Specialist can help Esege get the job done even better.
Recon Specialist gives Esege an additional focus token whenever he perform the focus action, and that;s more focus tokens that his squad mates can use to help finish the fight!
