The Dark Hand: Star Wars Destiny

By Barclay Montgomery | September 28th, 2017 | Categories: Star Wars Destiny, Star Wars Tactics

This Blue Villain deck focuses on the power of the cards in your hand in Star Wars Destiny. Come and learn the dark arts with Asajj Ventress and Quinlan Voss.

Qinlan Voss is anew Blue Villain character in the upcoming Empire at War expansion for Destiny. The focus of this deck will center around his special ability. You can deal damage to an opponent’s character equal to the number of cards in your hand more than the number of cards in your opponent’s hand. To aid him in his dark quest is Asajj VentressAsajj fits perfectly with Quinlan and helps make sure that your opponent’s hand is ever diminishing. After an opponent discards a card to reroll dice, Asajj can force your opponent to discard another card. This can keep your enemy’s hand size low and increases the damage potential for Quinlan’s special ability. The Emperor’s Favor is a 1 cost upgrade that increases your hand size by 1. This widens the gap between the difference of you and your opponent’ hand and can increase Quinlan’s damage output. If you ever are in a situation when your opponent has more cards than you in hand, just be like Count Dooku and count on your Boundless Ambition to draw cards equal to your hand size. With the Emperor’s favor, this could allow you to draw back up to 6 cards! That can swing the advantage in your favor to deliver a Quinlan Voss coup de grâce.

This Villain deck has an interesting alternate win condition. What other out of the box decks will we see in Star Wars Destiny?
