TIE Punisher

Our favorite TIE Punisher is back for more bomb crazy action in X-Wing 2.0. This time around he has some new maneuvers and tricks!

Ah, Deathrain. Our favorite TIE Punisher has returned to grace us with more bombing madness in X-Wing 2.0! Getting rid of his front bombing action from the last version, the new Deathrain is able to perform an action after he drops or launches a device.

This acts as a soft Advanced Sensors, allowing you to get an action before your maneuver. Deathrain’s bread and butter is dropping bombs on fools so let’s get him set up with the best tools for his trade.

Trajectory Simulator

Trajectory Simulator is a sensor upgrade that can allow Deathrain to launch a bomb using the 5 straight template instead of the normal 1 straight. This can give Deathrain a much longer reach to launch bombs from, keeping him safe from his own devious devices.

Launching bombs comes from the front slots of your ships, so in a way, its like having the old Deathrain back again! Bomblet Generator

Bomblet Generator is a great upgrade for Deathrain. Taking up 1 bomb slots, this upgrade allows Deathrain to spend 1 energy to launch a Bomblet using the straight 1 template. You can also choose to extend the range of it with Trajectory Simulator and Deathrain can also spend 1 shield to recover 2 energy for launches.

With Deathrain’s pilot ability, however, he may launch his last Bomblet, spend his action to reload, and recover an energy for more Bomblets!

Skilled Bombardier

To get even more precise bombing ability with Deathrain, equip a Skilled Bombardier. This Gunner upgrade allows Deathrain to use the template of the same bearing with a speed 1 higher or lower when launching or dropping a device. What this does is allows Deathrain to launch a bomb with Trajectory Simulator with the 5 straight, and lower it to 4 straight if he so desires to better place his bombs.

This can also allow for a bomb launch with the straight 2 if needed. Get your bombs in just the right spot with Deathrain in X-Wing 2.0!
