If you, like most of us, are tired of scalpers, this Facebook group is a great way to get the minis you want and potentially help out other hobbyists as well!

The group, 40k Warhammer and general Wargames Trip Loot Sharing is a place to share your loot with the world, and help bring exclusives to people who can’t make it. Basically, it’s a platform where you can ask for a mini that’s coming out somewhere in the world. Then if someone is going to the event, lives in the country, etc… they can agree to grab it for you. Everything is at cost, so it’s a place for people who want to help out the gaming community, not make money!

Just be sure if you want to join this group, answer all the membership questions! They like to vet who becomes part of the community (which keeps it a great community) and they want to make sure you understand the rules fully before joining.

Their rules are simple, you can’t scalp anyone, and nothing is for profit. If someone is going to an event and wants to help out, that’s it. It’s a really cool idea to stick it to the scalpers and get some sweet minis!

The overall mission of the group is to spread hobby love. If you ask us, that’s an amazing mission and we love the idea. The group is private, but it’s fairly large at over 6K members. If you want to help out the hobby, or are looking for some exclusive minis, you should join up. There is also the chance that people just grab some extras and put them up on the group for who wants them.

When they say at cost, that means the buyer pays for the mini, plus whatever fees may be involved. This is nice so the seller doesn’t lose out. Let’s hear a little from them about the group:

We all know the irritation. Something cool and right up your alley is released, but it’s either an event exclusive, a country-specific release, or even a Warhammer World exclusive. In this day of the internet this still means though that if you can’t get to such things, you’re straight out of luck. And that sucks!

Except it doesn’t anymore!!!!!

This group is about spreading the hobby love. Let people know you’re going to an event or specific hobby location, and confirm you’re willing to grab some goodies for others whilst you’re there.
