Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves. Click this special promo link to save $20 on a year’s subscription to BCP.
Editor’s Note: Tau is getting their update, while Eldar and Necrons are mainstays, so instead we will have Guard, Ad mech, and Blood Angels below.
6th Place: Innes Wilson – Blood Angels (Sons of Sanguinius)
4th Place: Richard Grint – Adeptus Mechanicus
2nd Place: David Gaylard – Astra Militarum
A Tank Commander led David’s second-place Imperial Guard for Orders inside a tank and ranged shots, Leontus for one of the best support and solo models in the faction, and Ursula Creed for bonus orders each turn. A single unit of Infantry and nine Bullgryns bring in the basis of the front lines to both soak wounds and put out some damage while helping with objectives.
30 (count ’em) Kasrkin brings in slightly more elite infantry-style bodies with some much better weapons overall.
Vehicles include two Basilisks, two Manticores, and a Leman Russ. They are all different variations on armored ranged threats designed to take out the largest threats from the opponent. David’s list wraps up with two Scout Sentinels and a Chimera for mobile models that don’t quite have the same firing power as the other vehicles.
