Questions & Answers to GW From the NOVA Seminar
Coming from some of the people that were asking the questions at the event, here are some of the highlights that were said during the seminar:
- Question: Is Squat support coming to Warhammer Legends? -“Please sit down”.
- Question: Will FW Chapters get supplement books (i.e Carcharadons)- No real answer.
- Question: Will you be releasing Titanicus books for digital download? – “No plans to do that”.
Warhammer Legends
- Question: What else is coming to Warhammer Legends?- “WH legends will include marine command tanks and other orphaned models”. (Sounds like the Rhino Primaris and Land Raider Excelsior will be hitting their final resting place next).
- Index books going away in 2020.
- “Warhammer Legends Range” – rules and points for out of production models.
- Points not updated annually, so not usable in “competitive events”.
- “Legal” for non-tournament games and “Legends” events (more to come on that)
- Also, some AOS (and WHFB) models moving to legends range
Other Important Notes:
- Sisters of Battle Box has more units inside than what’s been pictured so far. Army box will include codex inside and models, and will come out “before” the main Sisters release. Sisters will get kill team rules as soon as the models come out.
- Horus Heresy is staying as a “specialist game” and will remain in their own studio. However, FW and rules for FW 40k units and AoS will be moving to the 40k/AoS studio.
- Fires of Cyraxis. “Forge World range support is moving “in house” into the 40k studio”, not their own entity. Plans for full FW range “can’t say anything more right now”.

- Explore cults and chaos in the underhive
- New 3D terrain
AOS – Ossiarch Bonereapers
- Mechanic for the boss model – inverted degradation/wound table.
Overall, it’s nice that Forge World segments focused solely on 40k and AoS will be moving into their proper studios. And it’s encouraging to see that we’re still going to be getting even more in the Sisters of Battle box than what was previewed.
