Check out this great Plague Cart brought to us by Cadaver! This is home-made and shows us what a great 3D printer can do for the hobby!

Hello everyone! Cadaver here from Home of Cadaver, giving you an update on what’s happening on my painting table right now!

Quite some time ago, I spoke with a friend about how great Mordheim really is. His local club started a small campaign and I thought it would be nice to jump into the action and reminisce. My favorite Witch Hunter warband would love to burn witches once more, but I wanted a new one.

We began discussing the ridiculous prices Mordheim and Warbands sold for on ebay.  The discussion ended on the Plague Cart of the Carnival of Chaos.

This model goes for prices of up to 150 Pounds on ebay! I really didn’t want to spend all that money on “okay” model. I decided that I should just make one of my own!

Not so long ago, I purchased a 3D printer. Ever since then I’ve had tons of fun creating all sorts of things. I have decided to use it for this project as well.

I found a nice file on the internet for a carnival cart and decided to use it as a base model. Here are the results!

This design has been extensively converted and modeled to create that slimy and rotted look papa Nurgle favors. The driver is based on a plastic Skaven model with lots of sculpting to create the robes.

Tiny bits and pieces were added to the cart, trying not to go overboard. I wanted to keep that one simple yet full of character.

I used a paint scheme based on the original model. I liked the contrast of the bony white areas with the dark brown ones.

I hope I you like the model as much as I do, I would love to hear your comments and see your votes on CoolMiniOrNot. Thank you, till next time, take care! 🙂
