The Imperial Arquitens Light Cruiser is a ship to watch out for! Look to see it lurking at long range in Imperial fleets really soon!
The Arquitens in a nice little 5 hull ships for the Imperial that likes to stay at long range and attacks with its strong side arcs, which feature red dice only. It’s weak front and rear arcs make it a broadsider through and through, a first for Imperial craft. Interestingly as well, this ship features 4 defensive tokens, and that’s where we should start to kit out this little beast.
Star by equipping Captain Needa to net us another Evade defensive token. This will enable us to get rid of the Contain defensive token to have a load out of 2 Redirects and 2 Evades. This will keep our little ship safe at long range for the duration of any battle. No that we have 2 Evades, Turbolaser Reroute Circuits is a no brainer for turbolasers.
By spending an Evade, we get to change 1 red die to a face that has hits or crits. Always go double! Boost that damage potential. TRCs are the best upgrade for the Rebel Corvette. Now it’s the Imperial’s turn to wreak havoc! Since we have 2 Redirects, let’s go with an old favorite for a Defensive Upgrade.
Advanced Projectors went extinct with the introduction of X)-7 Turbolasers, but this little ship could bring it back! Having the ability to spread damage around with our Redirects and having 2 Evades at our disposal really make this ship a tough nut to crack.
