A new board game from CMON will have you fighting monstrous invaders as well as fighting for freedom from an oppressive regime!
The world of Gateway Uprising a dark world where the city of Gateway is ruled by an oppressive Chancellor and magic is outlawed. However, it will be up to these outlaws to save the city from the monstrous Drueggar Horde that is threatening to destroy the city. Gateway Uprising is a board game that combines deck building and area control as you and up to 3 other opponents battle over the city’s districts. There will be only one winner but players will have to work together to make sure the city does not fall. Players will be able to recruit powerful characters, wield mystical Runestones, and earn Infamy Points. The player with the most points at the end wins, unless the city is sacked before then by the Horde.
The world of Gateway was created by Sean Andrew Murray, which the board game captures and expands upon that story. To see the full story of Gateway, check here! A standard game will take 45 minutes to complete. The rulebook is also available in PDF if you want to get an idea as to how the game mechanics work.
