It’s official, GW is returning to Underworlds! Their new expansion: Beastgrave is on the way next week with new rules, models, and accessories!
Warhammer Community just let us in on the release lineup that goes up on preorder September 21st. If you enjoy Underworlds or even AoS in general, this is going to be a great set of releases!
Beastgrave: The Core Set
The Core Set includes boards, tokens, dice, loads of cards and two warbands to battle with, plus the full and updated new rules. We’ll be delving into just what’s inside the box tomorrow, so watch this space!
This core set comes with everything you could need to play the new expansion. Whether you’ve been playing Underworlds, or are just starting. This is the place to start!
Dice and Sleeves
Both warbands will have their own dice sets and sleeves at pre-order – with the latter, in particular, making a practical and attractive addition to your collection.
For the launch, we’re getting the standard lineup of sleeves and dice. We should continue to see these for all factions coming out during the Beastgrave run.
Accessories
Looking to transport your warband, boards, cards and tokens to your next Grand Clash safely? Grab the Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave Carry Case!
This is a standard small carrying case. It size means you should expect to fit a complete warband and accessories in it.
Likewise, this season’s Deck Box is a cracking way to keep your cards safe and secure at an event or your local club.
This durable neoprene mat acts as a dashboard for your games, keeping your carefully built decks safe on whatever surface you’re playing over and letting you quickly ascertain your various cards and glory points at a glance.
This appears to be very similar to normal TCG play mats, except of course it is Underworlds themed and has spots for your decks on the play space marked out.
Many Warhammer Underworlds warbands in the new season have innovative new game mechanics involving counters, and while you’re free to use coins, dice or errant bones of amber for these, you’re best off using our dedicated Counter Set!
These have been designed with the future in mind. Meaning some of the tokens may be for rules that have yet to even come out! Definitely a safe purchase if you plan to continue playing for the long run.
Terrain
Many Warhammer Underworlds warbands in the new season have innovative new game mechanics involving counters, and while you’re free to use coins, dice or errant bones of amber for these, you’re best off using our dedicated Counter Set!
This set of terrain is a perfect way to replace the normal hex cutouts on maps for hazards with actual terrain features! Of course, you’re also free to use it in any board themed in the same realm!
