Wanna play Age of Sigmar for less? Come see the four new Easy to Build (ETB) kits for the Nighthaunts and Stormcasts, unboxed and assembled!
GW has made it way easier to get into some kind of AoS narrative or otherwise. This time around you don’t have to go all in on a new starter set to try out the game, because you can pick up one of these $15 easy to build box sets and jumpstart your AoS adventure.
Pared with the free rules download for second edition these sets are a great value, especially if you want a taste of the game without shelling out a ton of hobby dollars!
Let’s take a look at the sets.

First up is Stormcast Eternals Sequitors, and Castigators. They come with a decal sheet for the different chambers and the sprues are a striking rich burnished gold color. These are very similar to what you would see in a Shadespire set and are an incredibly well-detailed set that mimics those kits in every way right down to the bases.
The Sequitors also came with a helmeted and open face head variants as shown below as well. Prob the first time we have see two “multipart” options in an Easy To Build kit IIRC.

Next, we have Stormcast Eternals Castigators with Gryph-Hound. Same yellowy gold in this sprue and the quality and detail carries over as well. You do get enough in this set for a full-size squad, plus the extra hound (which are normally fielded in squads of six)
Nighthaunts
These Myrmourn Banshee sprues are really interesting too with that dark turquoise color. We see the same quality and detail in this UK made set just like in the Shadespire kits, and the Stromcasts above.
The Myrmourn banshees have a diabolical hunger, for they feast solely upon magic. No enemy spell is safe from the ravenous spirits, and they haunt the Mortal Realms in search of arcane energies to consume.
And last but certainly not least, we’ve got the NightHaunt Glaivewraith Stalkers. These guys come in the Soul Wars box so you’ll have enough for two squads between those sets.
A Glaivewraith Stalker is an unstoppable force. Its long blade always points at the beating heart of its intended victim, just as the needle of an arcane compass indicates the highest concentration of magic.
