Final Days To Elevate Your Cultists Miniatures On Kickstarter!

The Cult RisesThe Cult Rises Kickstarter is here to upgrade the age-old mysterious-robed figure with some awesome customization!

We all know the trope of having robed cultists being your generic bad guy for almost every kind of role-playing game imaginable. That’s why this Kickstarter project is here to give the whole idea a facelift, with tons of cool options for different cultist loadouts! Let’s go ahead and see what lies beneath these robes.

Elevate Your Occult With The Cult Rises Kickstarter!

Cultists Rising 2You could use these for a ton of games and RPGs, and it would be fun to hobby on (painting robes is fun and fast). Then, with the stretch goals, you’ll have way more options to upgrade your miniatures. Here’s what they have to say about the project:

From ancient times to the grim, dark futures, robes are always in fashion…

The Cult Rises! project offers a range of miniatures with multiple poses, heads, and equipment. These are perfect for dungeon-dwelling evildoers, blessed monks, or ranked units of religious fanatics! You can pledge for physical miniatures or get the STLs and print your own!

The Cult Rises 1

Jolly Lark is making a set of multi-part, customizable Cultist miniatures – available as both physical miniatures and STLs. There are over 60 parts (bodies, arms, heads, weapons, etc.) so you can really make them your own. They seem like a great fit for a huge variety of games. They’d be great making their way through the icy streets of a Frostgrave game, ranked up in Kings of War, summoning an elder god, or filling a cursed cathedral in your favorite RPG. They were designed to be evocative of all the spooky cultists that pervade tabletop game settings, without being tied down to any one system.

Cultist Core Set: $45

Pledge one for cultists
This is going to be your main physical tier, perfect for starting your fledgling cult.

The $45 “Cultist Core Set” pledge includes enough bodies and heads to make 10 complete cultists, plus a few extra arms and accessories. These are 3D printed on 8K machines, with premium, durable resins. Scroll down for more info about the physical miniatures! All cultist miniatures come with 25mm round bases.

Techno-Cultist Pledge: $35

TEchno-cultist pledgeThis tier will cover your main STL needs for those who want to print it themselves. It also gets you STLs for all of the add-ons! Why only get a few models when you can print out hundreds? That’s the real question.

The $35 Techno-Cultist Pledge includes the digital STL files for everything: the 37 parts included in the Core Set, the STLs of all Add-ons, plus the STLs of all unlocked stretch goals! Currently, over 50 files – with more to come!

After the Kickstarter, the Add-ons and larger models will be sold separately. Digital Backers will save over $20, compared to buying everything separately after this Kickstarter!

Add-ons:

Add-ons

All of your add-ons will be physical products that you can add in addition to your order. This way, you can just get a little more without spending a bunch of cash.

Did those robes just… writhe? wriggle? Something’s not right here…

The Cthulhu add-on includes four new bodies: two with outstretched arms and two holding shotguns, plus a variety of tentacle-y arms and heads, plus other accessories appropriate to the early 20th century Cthluhu time period.

Add-ons 2

Perfect to lead your followers of the Elder Gods! This dynamic miniature has a separate head (included) so you can customize their look! Comes with a 40mm round base, which is uses every mm of!

Add-ons 3

The Fightin’ Friars Add-on includes a variety of additional, heavier weaponry. It includes enough pieces to assemble four complete Cultists (including a pair with two-handed flails), plus enough extra arms to outfit your core set with battle-ready armaments and shields.

Add-ons 4

“The Corrupted” Add-on includes one monstrous miniature: perfect for a final boss, a summoned denizen of the dark, or a twisted experiment! It stands 45mm tall (from base to top of its back) and includes a 40mm base.

Add-ons 5

What’s spookier than ten cultists? Twenty Cultists!

We had a few requests from backers for a set that could affordably increase the ranks of their cultists. One hobbyist described a fun scene: “the whole town is actually part of the cult and your heroes are SURROUNDED!” (Thanks Dan!)

The Cult Horde Add-on includes ten monopose bodies (5 male, 5 female), plus one of each of the 10 core set heads.

Stretch Goals!

This project has tons of terrific stretch goals that have already been obliterated so far!

Stretch Goals Stretch Goals 2 Stretch Goals 3 Stretch Goals 4

Funding GoalWith nearly 5k already and only a few days left to go, they’re almost through all of their stretch goals, adding a ton of extra value!

They even have a video guide on how to Speedpaint your cultists!

If you’ve been looking for a way to ungenericize your robbed baddies, look no further than this project. Designed to work with as many different game systems as possible, it has something for everyone. However, there are only a few days on this project, so don’t miss out on your chance to get all this value before it’s gone!
