GW Corrects Misprinted Eisenhorn’s Rules in July’s WD

Gregor Eisenhorn

Check out the updated 40k Kill Team rules sheet for Eisenhorn in July’s White Dwarf that Games Workshop just corrected. Check out the updated rules now!

Eisenhorn’s rules were spotted from the new White Dwarf last week. However, his stat-sheet ended up being misprinted. GW customer support has been working to fix the problem with a new stat sheet that’s more accurate to what we expected him to have in Kill Team.

As of this writing, you can get a corrected PDF of his rules if you email GW Customer Support.

Eisenhorn’s Kill Team Rules Sheet Gets Updated

Eisenhorn’s Old Sheet

When we initially previewed the first stat-sheet that was spotted, it was a little odd that Eisenhorn only had 1 wound, 1 attack and there was no max unit amount on the sheet. On top of that, for someone who is a big bad Inquisitor having an Ld 7 and a 6+ sv, his rules seemed underwhelming. The good news is that GW identified the misprint and brought the character up to snuff in Kill Team.

Eisenhorn’s New Rules (Updated)

Eisenhorn got his rules tweaked to something more of what we would expect. Costing the same amount of points, he’s now got 5 wounds, 4 attacks, Ld 10, and a 4+ Sv. As far as everything else goes, it looks like all of the stats didn’t change.

With a decent armor save and multiple wounds to fall back on, you’ll be able to get closer with Eisenhorn and start casting Enforce Will with more confidence. (Before, he would have had to stay out of sight almost all game to avoid getting insta-killed.

At the end of the day, Eisenhorn went from totally underwhelming to a multi-wound badass. With that said, will you be playing Eisenhorn more aggressively in your games?
