Games Workshop just gave us updated FAQs for Age of Sigmar and it looks like the days of the Seraphon double turn are over. Come find out what may be changing in your army.

Age of Sigmar is getting a couple needed changes in the latest FAQ update that was posted recently. Let’s take a look at the latest updates and see what it means for your next game.

First up is Grand Alliance: Order.

The Stormcast Eternals will be getting a couple small changes.

Change the third sentence to:
‘When you do so, set them up on the battlefield within 6″ of the Hammerstrike Force’s Prosecutors and more than 3″ from any enemy units.’

Page 121 – Vanguard Wing, Stormstreak
Change the last sentence to:
‘Remove the unit from the battlefield, then set it up anywhere within 5″ of a unit of Prosecutors from the Vanguard Wing and more than 3″ from any enemy units.’

But the big change comes in for the Seraphon army and they will no longer be getting the infamous double turn on the regs.

Seraphon FAQ

Seraphon players were almost guaranteed victory as soon as they deployed with the ability to double turn, and Games Workshop has finally fixed that. Instead, they’ll now only be able to double the Move and Attack characteristics.

Chaos is also getting a couple updates:

Add ‘WIZARD’ to the keywords line.

Q: What happens if the Blighted Weapons ability is combined with the Blades of Putrefaction spell? Do I inflict D6 mortal wounds on a hit roll of 6+?
A: No. The 6+ roll simply triggers both effects – therefore you inflict D6 hits (roll to wound and save normally), and 1 mortal wound in addition to any other damage.

Page 118 – The Changeling, Arch-deceiver
Change to:
‘Arch-deceiver: After set-up is complete, you can remove the Changeling from the battlefield and set up it up again in your opponent’s territory, more than 3” from any enemy units. Enemy units treat it as part of their own army – they can move within 3” of it but they cannot target it with spells or attacks, and so on. If it makes a charge move, attacks, casts or unbinds a spell, or is within 3” of an enemy Hero at the end of any phase, it is revealed and this ability no longer has an effect.’

Poxbringers will now have the Wizard keyword, the Blighted Weapon ability and Blades of Putrefacation spell combo does not inflict D6 mortal wounds, and the Arch-deceiver ability has been changed to after set-up is complete instead of deploying him directly in your opponent’s territory.

There are even more updates to be seen so make sure you head on over to the Age of Sigmar FAQ page and check out all of the additional changes.

What do you think about the latest FAQ update? Are you glad to see the change in the Seraphon ability? Is there anything else you want to see fixed? Let us know in the comments below.
