The Dark Eldar have a new codex today, as Games Workshop’s frenetic release rate seems to be on pace to have hard cover versions of all the Codicies out by early next year.
Once again priced at $49.50 the New Codex is now available worldwide and has a Limited Edition version as well!
So far early reports are saying the Dark Kin’s rules got watered down a bit, however personally the jury is still out for me.
In addition we should also see the Haemonculus Supplement next week, which most reports are saying contain more options for the base codex.
Some rumormongers point to releases becoming a tandem thing forcing players to purchase not one but two books, however I personally think that maybe it’s good to have options for running different armies and options available to you.
Will the Dark Eldar end up being the end all be all shock troops, super shooty specialists, mid-range masters, or will they just be the alley lurkers you take to get certain abilities and transports?
