Fantasy Dwarves & Terrain Sets: Kromlech Unboxing

Fantay Dwarves and terrainThe Kromlech site has so much stuff on there it’s insane! They have free shipping on everything over €150 and have something for everyone. If you want terrain, minis, or bits, they have it.

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 2The site already has so many options for these dwarves, so basically most things you want, they already have and are always expanding the line.

Bits

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5All the bits are very detailed, and everything is scaled correctly but still has some CHONK. Plus, just look at those flowing and luxurious beards! Just from looking at the bits, we can already tell this is going to make some really cool minis.

Cannon Kit

CannonThis reminds us of the old pewter kits from GW and it really brings back that great nostalgia. It would work perfectly in most games or old-style forces, even some Kings of War stuff.

Cannon crew 2

Cannon crewThe cannon crew itself is pretty sweet and super detailed. You even get one Dwarf loafing about.

Size comparisonThe scale is also pretty spot on, so they could be used in most game systems.

Dwarven Warriors

Fantay Dwarves and terrain 6

Fantay Dwarves and terrain 7The warriors are very dynamic with a ton of cool poses and weaponry. You do have to kind of assemble them on the square bases, but could be put on round bases if you wanted to.

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5The standard really shows off how much detail they put into these, they are just really cool overall.

Terrain

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5This is the piece we’ll be looking at today, they give you awesome packaging, all the instructions, and it just looks super detailed from the get-go, plus they are only about $30, which isn’t bad at all.

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5You can snap some of the bigger pieces out of place pretty easily, but Rob recommends using a hobby knife of some kind to help with getting these out. These don’t have a ton of wood grain, so if you wanted that more realistic feel Rob recommends using some steel wool to roughen it up a bit.

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5The house looks great when all assembled and it even comes with a removable roof, meaning it is very functional to actually play with.

Kits on the Tabletop

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5

Fantasy Dwarves and terrain 5As you can see, everything just looks amazing when laid out on the tabletop! The scaling of the terrain to the minis is perfect, and it just makes for an awesome board, plus the minis look even cooler when together like this!
